Large Eyebolt w/Nut

Tensioned Cable Hardware - Provides a solid perimeter and support foundation to which all types of bird netting can be fastened. 

Corner Hardware - Maximum strength hardware designed to bear the loads of the bird netting installation. Used at all corners, cable breaks and at both ends of support cables.

Large Stainless Steel Eyebolt w/Nut
  • Stainless steel heavy duty eyebolts are the main support hardware (in steel and masonry surfaces) for the Tensioned Perimeter Net Cable system. Use at least one large eyebolt at all cable corners, breaks and changes in cable direction.
  • Maximum distance between large eyebolts is 50 feet. For longer spans of cable, use multiple eyebolts.
  • Used as anchoring points for overhead wire grid systems and for support and reinforcement cables used along with our deer and perimeter fence hardware.
  • All HD Stainless Steel eyebolts have a 9/16” inside diameter eyelet, a 1” long, ¼-20NC threaded stem and comes with one thread matching stainless steel hex nut.
  • Large stainless steel eyebolts with nuts are sold in packages of 10 each.

Large Stainless Steel Eyebolt w/Nut installation specs
  • For masonry surfaces, (concrete, brick, block, stone, etc.) install the large eyebolts with the Large Machine Screw Anchors (#MS Anchor LG). Follow the instructions provided with the anchors.
  • Maximum spacing of large stainless steel eyebolts is 50 feet. For runs longer than 50 feet, install multiple eyebolts along the path of the cable.
  • For steel (I-beam flanges, plate, channel, Z-purlins, etc.) up to ¾” thick and access behind the surface, drill a clearance hole, use the nut on back side to hold in place.
  • Each eyebolt will hold at least 2 large, 3 medium or 4 small turnbuckle hooks or 3 connection thimbles.
When and Where to Use Large stainless steel eyebolts with nuts:
  • The large stainless steel eyebolts are designed to anchor the corners and main fastening points of the tensioned perimeter cable systems used to secure bird netting enclosures and overhead grid wire systems. Often used with our deer & perimeter fence to create support cables for fence posts.
  • Can be installed in masonry and steel surfaces. For wood surfaces, use the Large Screw Eyes.
Large stainless steel eyebolt with nut Installation Tips:
  • For masonry surfaces, follow the instructions provided with the large machine screw anchors.
  • For connections with the hex nut in high vibration environments, use a ¼” stainless steel lock washer (not supplied).
  • IMPORTANT: Always make sure the the surface will support the tension from the cable system. Do not attach corner hardware to surfaces in poor condition or where there is no structural support.
