Biogents’ mosquito trap “
BG-Home” is a high-performance and eco-friendly indoor trap that targets tiger mosquitoes and other flying pest insects in your home.
Patented Technology: The combination of visual cues, artificially generated air plumes, and an artificial scent that mimics human skin allows the trap to effectively imitate a human being and to attract the mosquitoes. The artificial human scent (BG-Sweetscent) is released from a sachet that is placed inside the trap. The BG-Sweetscent is effective for two months; then it must be replaced. A heated surface at the top of the trap provides an additional attractive stimulus. Last, but not least, the black color of the trap is also visually attractive to mosquitoes.
Approaching mosquitoes are captured with the help of a fan and drawn into the base of the trap where they are dehydrated. Other indoor insect pests can be attracted with the option to switch on UV lights. A transparent window allows you to monitor the catch and see when it is time to empty the trap.
No toxic ingredients: The artificial scent and the trap design are internationally patented. The trap does not require carbon dioxide, propane, butane, or other flammable gases and uses no toxic chemicals.
