Heat & Motion Sensor
Each Scarecrow has a high quality motion/heat sensor that has an effective detection range of 35 feet. Because it detects heat as well as motion, the Scarecrow is effective at night as well as during the day. During daylight hours the optics automatically reduces sensitivity to help avoid false triggering. The 1- 9 volt battery (not included) can operate the sensor and the high flow valve for thousands of activations (6 months under normal use).
