Adhesive
Adhesive Installation Methods
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Nixalite recommends using the supplied mechanical mounting
hardware whenever and wherever possible.
If the surface conditions do not allow the use of the supplied mounting hardware, an adhesive installation can be done. Adhesives cannot be considered long term fastening. All adhesives, for one reason or another, will eventually deteriorate and fail. Mechanical fasteners will securely hold the Nixalite strips as long as the installation surface remains in good condition.
If you must use adhesive to install Nixalite, we recommend using the Glue Clips.
 |
Nixalite Glue Clips
These work with the Premium Nixalite and E-Spike Economy bird
spikes ONLY.
If the standard mounting hardware cannot be used to fasten the
Nixalite strips to the installation surface, a Glue Clip and
Adhesive installation can be done. The Glue Clip is an all
stainless steel form that allows for Nixalite strip removal and
reinstallation without damaging the adhesive bond, the Nixalite
strip or the installation surface. |
Other Adhesive Methods
“Non-Removable Installation Method”.
Not
to
be
confused
with ‘permanent’ fastening methods. ‘Non-removable’ means that after the adhesive cures, it is
unlikely that the Nixalite strips can be removed without
damaging them or the installation surface.
