Garden Protector Kit
Safe, all-in-one box electric fence kit protects gardens, freshly
planted/seeded areas, small shorelines, hobby ponds and other areas
from rabbits, raccoons, ground hogs, skunks and other pest
animals of similar size. Powered by 4 D-cell batteries (not
included), Garden Protector uses a mild but persuasive shock to
teach nuisance animals to keep away from the Garden Protector.
Each Garden Protector Kit includes: 250ft of conductive poly wire,
10 posts, one line charger and assorted hardware. This is enough to
create 50ft of 5-wire fence.
Garden Protector is Safe & Humane
The electric fence kit is safe to use. When switched on, the
electrified fence wire uses mild shocks to train nuisance animals to
stay away. Yet the mild shock is safe for animals and humans.
Garden Protector is Expandable
Expand Garden Protector kit by simply adding more Poly Wire
and Fence Posts. The Garden Protector line charger can
handle up to 1 mile of poly wire (just over 1,000ft of
fence). We offer 656ft (200m) spools of poly wire, 10 count bags of
fence posts (with 50 cotter pins) to expand your Garden Protector enclosure.

Basic Instructions:
These steps provide a BASIC procedure for installing the Garden
Protector Fence. For detailed installation instructions
Contact Nixalite or download the
Product Brochure.
- To expand, add more rolls of Poly Wire
and Fence Posts to your order.
- Space 10 supplied fence posts evenly around the
perimeter of the space to be enclosed.
- Push each 24" long post 6” into the ground. This should give
an 18" installed fence height.
- Install the poly wire through the five rows of hooks on each
fence post. Keep the wire snug.
- Install the warning signs in the 4th or 5th row of wire by
running the poly wire through the signs.
- Insert 4 “D” batteries (not supplied) into the fence
controller. Place the controller close to the fence so you will
have easy access to the on/off switch. Install the controller
using the ground spike and sleeve supplied
- Attach the fence controller to the ground anchor. Insert the
ground rod within 1-foot of the fence controller and at least
12-inches into moist soil.
- Attach the red hookup wire from the controller to the fence
line, and the black hookup wire from the controller to the
ground rod.
- Turn the fence controller switch to ON.
