Crop Guardian is approved for use on ripening cherries, grapes and blueberries (EPA Registration Number 58035-13) and is effective in repelling a wide variety of birds, including cedar waxwings, brown thrashes, mourning doves, house finches, robins, goldfinches, sparrows, starlings, cardinals, etc.

How long will an application last?
Typically one application will last about 3 weeks. When bird populations are high, another application may be needed 10 days after the first. Repeat treatment if significant bird damage begins to occur. Crop Guardian is formulated with a polymeric sticker that will protect it from occasional rainfall. However continuous rain for several days will require a fresh application.

What about residual on the fruit?
Process and wash your fruit as you normally would after harvest. Wash and rinse with large quantities of water. To reduce any residuals, follow the 'final application' schedule below.
       Cherries and table grapes: Discontinue applications 3 days prior to harvest.
       Grapes for wine: Discontinue treatment 5 days before harvest.
       Blueberries: Application can continue until harvest.

Application & mixing rates:
Crop Guardian may be applied with either ground spray equipment or by aerial spraying.
Ground: Mix at a ratio of 1 part Crop Guardian to 10 parts water (1:10).
Aerial: Mix at a ratio of 1 part Crop Guardian to 1 part water (1:1).

Shake or stir well before mixing. Do not apply on wet or damp fruit. Withhold treatment until the fruit is susceptible to bird damage. Do Not let Crop Guardian freeze!
