Safety Equipment
A P-100 rated (or better) respirator is a MUST when doing mold
remediation. NEVER enter mold infested areas without this
respirator. NEVER breathe the fungicide fog or mist. Splash-proof
goggles, protective gloves and disposable full-body coveralls are

General
Directions
Mixing: Oxy-Mold MX-501 is a
concentrate and is mixed with water at a 1:32 ratio. Add 4 fluid
ounces of concentrate for each gallon of water. Nixalite offers the
MX-501 in both quarts and gallons. A quart of concentrate makes 8
gallons of mix (water and concentrate) while a gallon makes 32
gallons of mix. Heavily soiled areas may require heavier mix ratios.

Application: Apply Oxy-Mold MX-501 in
diluted form only. Use a cloth, mop, pressure sprayer or fogger to
wet the surfaces completely. Keep the surface completely wetted for
10 minutes. Always wear a respirator with P100 rated (or better)
filters when spraying or fogging. Do not breathe the spray or fog.
Coverage: Always treat mold infested
areas twice, allowing it to air dry between applications. One gallon
of mix can wet coat 100 sq. ft. space. A 1,000 sq. ft. space needs
10 gallons of mix per treatment. For 2 treatments, this space
requires 20 gallons of mix (1 gal. of concentrate = 32 gal. of mix).
NOTE: If treating inhabited spaces,
vacate the space and make sure it is well ventilated. Allow the
spray to dry completely before using the space. See product label
