What is it? The 500X is a
powerful acoustic wildlife deterrent that uses a focused beam
of sound to deliver distress calls, predator calls, alert tones
and voice commands with pinpoint accuracy over long distances
without loss of clarity or intensity. Originally designed for
military applications, LRAD technology has been effective in
long range wildlife dispersal and behavior modification.
How Does It Work? 500X uses patented
and proprietary technology to generate and focus sound waves into an
acoustic beam that can be aimed at distant targets. Using the
appropriate distress calls, predator calls or alert tones, the
LRAD-500X consistently deters pest birds and nuisance animals up
to 1-1/4 miles from the operator.
Why Use 500X? This is NOT a
loudspeaker. It is advanced sound wave generation and focusing
technology. It produces an acoustic beam that is clearly audible
over 88 decibels (dB) of background noise at a distance of 1/2 mile.
It provides a non-lethal and humane deterrent that is
effective where other means would be costly, impractical or
impossible.
Applications: Keep birds and animals
away from critical control zones such as; airports, wind
farms, solar farms, oil tank farms, nuclear
plants, mining facilities, collection & tailings ponds,
